ALCAMO

 

Alcamo is a town of 45,985 inhabitants in the province of Trapani in Sicily.Alcamo is located on the border with the province of Palermo, at a distance of about 50 km from Palermo and Trapani. At the foot of Mount Bonifato.The municipal territory now covers an area of 130.79 km ².
To the north is washed by the Tyrrhenian Sea, bordered to the east with the municipalities and Balestrate Partinico, south and west to Camporeale with those of Calatafimi-Segesta and Castellammare del Golfo.
His most important fraction is Alcamo Marina, which is about 6 km from the city center.
